It is so nice to have a English BBS for Hulusi. I beleive that it is definitely helpful to have the Hulusi art to spread worldwidely.

The first thing we need to know as Hulusi funs is how to say Hulusi in English.

"Cucurbit Flute", is that right ? Does anybody have different translation ?

Someones call it 'Chinese flute'. I just tell people that it is Hulusi. Let everyone call it Hulusi, so when anyone talks about Hulusi, we all know what it is.

Exactly, we can call it "Cucurbit Flute", "Chinese Flute", this is no doubt to be right .

 

Anyhow, this is unique in China, like "Chinese KongFu", and Bruce Lee spread Kongfu to all over the world, and now, everyone in the world knows "KongFu".

 

Today, we just call "Hulusi", this is not special pronunciation for foreiner, they can say out this fluently.

 

And it needs us to spread out all over the world!  Come on!
